Terran Orbital (NYSE:LLAP) broke ground on a 94,000-square-foot factory to make satellites in Irvine, California. The company is collaborating with REIT W. P. Carey on the project, according to an announcement.

“The new facility will propel Terran Orbital to new heights,” Marc Bell, Terran Orbital co-founder, chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “We also look forward to the capacity increase the new facility will create as we continue to onboard contracts and satellite orders.”
