Tickmill operates through several companies, so a country list alone cannot tell you which conditions apply. Check your actual residence, the company named in the agreement and the product you want to use. Then check local permission and any separate promotion restrictions.
This directory leads to country guides with a specific local issue to resolve. It is not a list of countries where every reader can open an account. For the overall product assessment, start with our Tickmill review.
Three questions before checking an offer
- Where do you reside? Use your actual residence and documents. A website language, travel location or passport alone does not settle the account’s residence classification.
- Which company and service are involved? Identify the contracting company and whether another firm acts as an intermediary. Distinguish a CFD account from another product.
- What do local rules permit? Confirm the provider, activity and payment route with the appropriate authority. An overseas licence is not automatically permission to operate in your country.
The provider’s current licence page lists Tickmill Ltd in Seychelles, Tickmill UK Ltd, Tickmill Europe Ltd and Tickmill South Africa (Pty) Ltd. Its Dubai reference describes a representative office of the UK company. These are different legal roles, not interchangeable badges of protection.
Choose the local question you need to answer
| Country guide | What it resolves |
|---|---|
| Tickmill Malaysia | The former Labuan licence was surrendered. Check the current company and MYR conversion without relying on an old licence claim. |
| Tickmill South Africa | Separate the local intermediary role from the product supplier. Check ZAR availability and specific bonus/social-trading restrictions. |
| Tickmill Indonesia | Read the dated investment-warning record alongside the later regulatory handover. A translated site does not resolve permission. |
| Tickmill Thailand | Understand the Bank of Thailand’s forex-business notice and why payment availability is a separate question. |
| Tickmill Vietnam | Distinguish permission to use overseas forex services from unresolved tax questions and VND payment records. |
| Tickmill UK | Check the FCA company, retail CFD conditions, clone-firm risks and the limits of investment compensation. |
| Tickmill India | The international service excludes Indian residents. Read the RBI’s permitted-provider and overseas-margin rules. |
A country guide should change your next decision. If it only repeats how to install a platform, use the main platform guide instead. The country articles focus on legal-company identity, restrictions and local currency questions; they link to the practical account guides when relevant.
Restricted countries and countries not covered here
The global legal page names Singapore, the United States, Iran, India and Japan among its service restrictions, along with jurisdictions where the service would conflict with local law. This is a provider restriction, not a complete description of every country’s financial law.
For an unlisted country, absence from that sentence is not confirmation of acceptance. Ask Tickmill to identify the company that would serve your residence and provide the applicable agreement. Cross-check any local permission claim with the regulator before considering funding.
Readers in Germany, Poland or another European country should identify the applicable European entity and its local service permissions. Do not transfer the international leverage headline to an EU retail account. Readers in the UAE should distinguish a representative office from the company providing the trading contract. Nigeria, Kenya, the Philippines, Pakistan and Bangladesh also require their own provider and local-rule checks; this directory does not certify availability there.
Your bank currency is not your trading account currency
A domestic payment may be converted before it reaches a wallet or trading account. Write down the sending currency, receiving currency, quoted exchange rate, intermediary charge and return route. If the currencies differ, a trading gain in the account currency can still produce a different result when converted back.
Tickmill’s account-registration FAQ says available base currencies depend on residence and reserves ZAR accounts for South African residents. Platform choice matters too. Compare the actual account menu with the account-types guide; do not infer a local-currency trading account from a local bank logo.
Our currency converter can provide an indicative comparison. Your payment provider’s executable quote, including fees, determines what is actually credited. The deposit guide explains the wallet and funding steps, while the withdrawal guide covers the return journey.
A bonus has a separate eligibility test
The Welcome Account terms apply to eligible new clients of Tickmill Ltd in Seychelles and contain a long exclusion list. They explicitly exclude the UK, South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and India. That promotion list differs from the general service restriction list.
Malaysia’s absence from the offer’s exclusion list is not an acceptance certificate. Other conditions and local rules still apply. Use the Tickmill bonus guide to distinguish introductory funds from withdrawable money; never choose an inaccurate residence to make an offer appear.
If you already have an account
- Save your agreement, company name and account classification.
- Record open positions, wallet balances and any pending funding request.
- If your residence changes, ask for the permitted process before opening another account or moving money.
- Use official support and complaint routes for a written answer. Keep payment and identity details out of public comments.
Country availability can change independently of a platform’s download availability. A working login does not answer whether new trading, deposits or transfers are permitted for your present circumstances.
Frequently asked questions
Is Tickmill available in every country?
No. Its global service lists restricted countries, and other residence, entity and local-law conditions apply.
Does a Tickmill country website prove local regulation?
No. Identify the legal company and regulated activity. A language page or representative office is not proof of local trading permission.
Can I use the same leverage in every country?
No. Entity, retail or professional classification, instrument and platform can change the applicable limit.
Do bonus restrictions match account restrictions?
Not necessarily. The Welcome Account has its own entity, client and country conditions, which must be checked separately.
What should I do if my country is not listed here?
Confirm your real residence with Tickmill, obtain the applicable company agreement and check local permission. Absence from this directory does not mean acceptance.
