After close, both Meta and Microsoft announced their earnings in both the handling on the top and bottom lines

Microsoft (MSFT) Q2 2025:
EPS $3.65 (BEAT; exp. $3.35), Revenue $76.44B (BEAT; exp. $73.76B)

Both Meta and Microsoft delivered strong beats across the board, with Meta surprising to the upside on EPS by a wide margin. Microsoft’s strength was broad-based, with all major business segments topping estimates—highlighting continued resilience in cloud, personal computing, and productivity. The results reaffirm big tech’s earnings momentum despite macro headwinds.

Meta shares are trading up 9.05% in after-hours trading. Microsoft is up 6.5%.
